How do you get back on track?

I've lost about 11 pounds in the past month and have been doing great!
This weekend my boyfriend's parents visited us and well, let's just say, I ate a little different than I normally would.
Homemade (skinny) enchiladas, homemade (NOT skinny) french silk pie, bakery pastries, whiskey, a few beers and then to top it off - we went to KFC (what!?!?) for dinner last night.
So I mean, I could have been worse and managed to sneak in a workout Friday morning AND got myself back to the gym today before work but how do you guys motivate yourselve and not let a bad day/weekend make you feel bad?

I'm right there with you. I've been doing great and the last 4 days have been rough.
For me, it's simply deciding that no matter what TODAY I will get back on track and do things right. It's almost like starting all over again and finding that motivation to keep going.
Good luck!0 -
you need to make lifestyle changes... i eat out once a week usually, and it has never hindered my weight loss as i watch my weekly calorie net.
i like food! so i am not going to say no to chocolate brownie every so often!!! its just about moderation, and trying to keep to your macros each week. one day wont harm your progress, as long as a day doesnt turn into a week or a month!0 -
We've all been there. And whenever I am there, I take a look at this blog entry to snap me back to reality:http://www.nerdfitness.com/blog/2012/08/16/get-over-it/0

Remember how much better you feel physically when you're eating healthier foods (and less of it). Realize that one or two days of bad eating isn't going to ruin any diet. And then suck it up and get back on track.0
