I have just begun the Jillian 30 day shred. I was going to try insanity, but now I am glad I started with Jillian...lol...

My question, with Jillian and instanity they are the same in that you suppose to do the them for 30, 60 or 90 days straight to get results that they promote.

When you are so sore and it's hard for you to move could you injury yourself? when do your muscles have time to recover? Is it good for you to push your muscles that hard.

Jillian doesn't want you to take a break even for water, I like her video, I feel good doing it, but I am concerned about injuries, insanity is much more intense and would like to work up to do it.

I am currently working with a physical therapist and her advice is that if the pain level gets above a 6 or 7 you need to stop and take a break. Stretch before starting any work out to loosen your muscle to minimize soreness and injury risk.
