Weight loss question. RMR, deficit etc...?

If someone's RMR(resting metabolic rate) is 3060 calories, meaning that to maintain one's weight, one would need to eat that many calories per day. Does that mean that if one creates a deficit of X, by eating about 1300 calories a day(of healthy and diverse food- protein(40+ gram), vegetables, dairy(low fat) etc..), making X or the deficit 1760 calories, barely working-out(occasional dumbbell(to increase metabolism), punching bag etc...), will this lead one to loose 3.5 pounds(1760*7/3500) a week and about 14 pounds a month, theoretically speaking?

Thank you in advance.

That is an unusually high RMR..

RMR is that many calories just for the internal organs to function adequetly. However, to maintain weight, one has to eat their TDEE which is always higher (unless in a coma of course)
  • Thank you for replying. My TDEE as recently calculated is 3451. Does that mean the same thing(I think that it's the TDEE I calculated the first time, not RMR)? So does this deficit thing still apply here? Sorry for using "one" instead of I. I originally asked this on another website, but copy and pasted it here.
