Shout out from Oregon, USA

Hi everyone, I registered to this site yesterday after hearing about MPF on various Facebook groups. Also heard about the FitBit so picked one of those up yesterday in hopes of keeping me accountable for getting some movement into my daily routine.

I will turn 54 in a few weeks, have had weight issues all of my adult life. Shed 45 pounds a few years ago but during some stressful years, allowed it to creep back. I hit rock bottom when I became winded walking up the stairs. My initial goal is to shed 50 pounds and once I get there I'll work on the last 25.

Been on weight watcher's, beginning my 4th week today. Been eating pretty clean but was totally discouraged when I saw that the scale only moved a half a pound for the last week. I really look forward to my Monday morning weigh-in's and felt I was not 'rewarded' this week, LOL

Dug out my old 'Walk Away The Pounds' DVD's and hope I can get back into a routine of using them 5 days a week. I would really like to find a online support system to keep me accountable.

I enjoy walking, if there is anyone local to Southern Oregon who may want to get together for a occassional stroll, let me know :-)
