Hi.
My name is Ashli, I am 23 years old and a Stay at Home mommy of one. My little one will be 3 in Jan of 2013 and I am a heavy procrastinator!
I didn't realize I was gaining as much weight as I was. I am a frequent snacker, I eat large portions at dinner and I love Soda and Junk food. Not good, I know. I am also a poultri-tarian, meaning I eat vegetables, fruits, chicken and turkey, grain and such-- but I only stick to the leaner meats instead of pork and beef. I have been that way since I was 12.
Before I got pregnant I was 135 lbs, during my pregnancy I only went up to 145 lbs, but afterwords and the last three years I have found myself another 40lbs heavier at 185. This is finally what got me to want to lose weight. I half self-esteem issues to begin with but to look at myself in the mirror and really be disgusted with what I see was the last straw.
I do not have to much of a support system at home; my fiancee likes me the way I am, he doesnt care about size. And that is sweet, but at the same time it doesnt give me the motivation I need to lose the weight, not that I want him to tell me I am fat and ugly, LoL. But aside from that I do not have to many friends here where I love to support me or lose weight with me, so I am on my own.
My friend Jen introduced me to this page though and so I hope, starting gradually at first and then working my way up to a more healthier and fit lifestyle, I will go down to at least where I was when I was pregnant, working though for what I was before I was pregnant.
So here I am, posting like its facebook on my page, keeping track of everything I eat, all the little things I do.. in hopes that I can see a pattern that I need to stop and to get healthier.![:) :)](https://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/resources/emoji/smile.png)
So here is me! A mother in Illinois who is Stay At Home and her own Freelance Artist, with a little one that keeps me busy with little time to exercise for myself.
Lets see if I can do this!!
