We are a few years apart, but age is just a number. I am sorry for the lost of your sister, but you do need to find a way to pull yourself together. You have to pick yourself up, brush off and plow fwd. I know, I have dealth with alot of loss in my life, mother, sister father, so you see I know how you feel. It will get better but only if you put forth effort, push yourself and get modivated. You will have alot of support on MFP.
  • Ive been doing the whole exercise change of lifestyle thing now for about 40 days (i hit 100kg and hated myself for it) - if you can persist and get into a routine it does get easier - like you - i had a slow metabolism, high cholestorol and blood pressure, but its starting to get a bit better and easier to do this whole exercise thing.

Sorry to hear about your sister as well... when times get hard your faced with a choice - dwell and feel sorry for yourself, or get up and live life. Its not always easy to pull yourself off the ground but the way i looked at it, when things are down its better to be positive and give others around you strength, than be negative and pull others down.

From my heart i wish you luck!

My dad passed last year and I put on 20lbs since then. It took a lot of work in my head to get myself to care about me again and all the hard work I put into making myself healthier before he passed. I finally just said that enough is enough. If I don't make a stand now I will gain back all the weight I lost and swore to myself I'd never have to lose again. You are worth the time and effort.
