    So I am finally feeling better! :bigsmile: Thank god! I was feeling like crap that I couldn't exercise last week. But I knew if I did, it wouldn't be pretty. I probably would have thrown up! :indifferent: So now I'm feeling better and I'm going to get back on the exercise wagon. Its not raining here anymore so I'm hoping I can play tennis tonight! :happy: Last week since I was sick, I didnt really eat well. I didnt eat a whole lot but when I did, it wasn't good for me.... :sick: But I didn't gain any weight and it said I lost .5 of a pound. haha :laugh: I dont really count half pounds because that could be anything, but I was happy i didnt gain. I had a dream I gained 4 pounds and I was sooo pissed! So I'm happy I didnt have to get mad. So here's my goals for today:

    today: 110 mins of exercise and 8 glasses of water

    I'm really going to focus this week to try to make up for last, but I'm not going to over do it. I promise.

    Kim- I hope you're feeling better! :flowerforyou: I know how crappy it feels to be sick so hang in there!
    Karen- How's the shred going? :smile: my sister and I are on level 2 right now. And I always forget how tough it is!
    Karen#2- are you feeling better too!? I hope you are! hows the step video coming along?
    Joliene- Are you still dancing? What about that walking partner, did she bail on you???
    Lisa and Angie- I hope you guys come back soon! I feel lonely without all of you here! So hurry back to us!! :smile: :glasses:

    I hope I'm not forgetting someone! My brain isnt working quite right yet this morning. So if I did, I am sorry and hurry back here soon!! :glasses:

    Ariel thanks for starting the new thread. Glad you are feeling better too.

    I am feeling better, but my nose is awful. Hopefully it will be better soon too.

    This weekend I exercised on Saturday and biked on Sunday so I feel pretty good about the weekend.

    Monday: 20 min workout plus 30 min weights.

    Morning! :drinker:

    Well I got in enough exercise yesterday. So I am happy with that. I just need to keep it up this week. But after not doing it for a week and being sick, i felt so tired afterwards. And my legs felt like rubber. I could hardly stand. it was very interesting. but i know it will get easier. i thought i was going to have a heart attack while trying to do this move. its on level 2 and its a cardio move but you twist your arms and legs in opposite directions by jumping and oh man i couldn't do the 2nd one. i had to take a breather and usualy i dont have to. so i was kinda bummber, but i know it was working. then my sister and i played tennis for 25 mins. she got tired fast. but we also walked there and back so I get in about 85 mins of exercise yesterday. :bigsmile:

    Kim- I'm glad you're feeling better too and i hope your nose gets better soon! mine is kinda weird today too. My right nostril is plugged and its making my throat taste weird. But when I blow it, nothing comes out. I know its tmi, but i hate that!! I hope the others join us here soon! I'm kinda of selfish when it comes to our group. See when we started this in October it really helped keep me on track by coming to say hello everyday. So I wuld log my stuff and say hi. So if they dont come back, I wil be sad because 1. I cant talk with them anymore and I like them, and 2. because i might fall off the wagon and not be so good. But I'm sure they will come back. Life gets crazy, i know how that is.

    today: 65 mins of exercise and 8 glasses of water

  • GOOD MORNING TEAM!
    So sorry I haven't been on for a while. I've been bummed.... my schedule is so hectic that I can't seem to fit exercise into it on a regular basis. I get into the Shred, then can't do it for two days because of kiddo activities....on those days, everything gets out of wack....by the time we get home, I'm so ravenous that I eat anything and everything...pizza and loads of bad cals. . .I don't excercise because I eat late, and so on...! I'm at the point where I know I've got to switch back to early morning exercising but that's hard for me because I'm not a morning person. I haven't weighed since Christmas but I know I've gained - my clothes let me know it! :cry:
    I'm in a rut! Help! I need my Team to help get me motivated again...
    It seems like the holidays just blew me away and I've lost the momentum and motivation. :sad:

    Karen - you can do this. You are a wonderful inspiration to all of us and your kids love you and want you to be happy. remember how great it feels to get in that workout in the morning and then you have such a better day. It is a pain to get up but once you are everything falls into place. You feel better, you look better, you have a better attitude throughout the day, you have more patience with your family and work. Remember all of the positive effects. You can do this, we are here for you. The Morning SHED is calling your name - GO KAREN.

    Ariel - You have come way too far to turn back now. Don't give up and don't cave. You cannot fall off the wagon after all of these months of hard work. You are so close to your call. You have all those new/old clothes that are fitting. You feel better. You have all that quality time with your boyfriend and sister. You are an inspiration and you are a doer. Don't give up. We will get through this together. WE BELIEVE IN YOU.

    Monday - ended with 75 min workout, 12 glasses water and under calories

    Tuesday - it is my rest day but I got up and did 10 min yoga to get some blood pumping. I am tired today, but I have two meetings and tons of work, so no time to slack.

    Karen- Don't let this get to you! Everyone goes through a rough patch. Just try to stay positive and be patient. If you have to get up in the moring, you gotta do it! I know its tough! I am the same way! But once you get in the routine its easy. Give it a week or two and by that time you will be back into the groove!:glasses: :wink: I know it! And just like Kim said, you are a great inspartion to pretty much everyone! So hang in there!!!! :flowerforyou: :bigsmile:

    Kim- thanks for the encouragment! I think I have figured out that its been hard to exercise because i've been doing it in my reeboks. i dont usualy do it in shoes so now that i am its tougher. my thighs are killing me right now from doing pendulum lunges and high knees. :indifferent: :sick: so im feeling pretty sore so i didnt get in that last 20 mins tonight. i will wait. maybe i will feel not as sore tomorrow. Oh and guess what? my sister is in Vegas tonight! She's never been (me either) so she was like lets go! so she got a room at circuis circuis for 30 bucks and drove out there with her hubby! :bigsmile: she said she went on the rollercoasters and that they were really scary. hehehe

    okay i'll talk to you guys tomorrow! hang in there you two! Since we're the only ones here so far! :bigsmile: But I'm glad you're here. Because I need you guys! haha, i'm selfish. :smile: but i wish the resot of our little team would join us soon. I sent them all a message. Trying to motivate them to come back.

    So I'm not feeling quite as sore today as I was last night. Which is good. Hopefully I will be able to get in my 65 mins of exercise and now just 45. Even though I know 45 is still good. its just I've noticed that recently I haven't been losing weight like I was (grrrrr :grumble: ) so I really want to try hard to make it to my goal by my b-day. So I have 9 weeks to lose 11 pounds. So as long as I can lose 2 pounds a week, I will be good. My b-day is April 8th so its coming up fast!!! Please please please let me make it! I would love to weigh 145 by then, but I really just want to get to 150. I weight about 161.5 right now. I dont count half pounds because that could be anything. So please help me stay motivated and strong so I can get there!!! :ohwell: :smile:

    yesterday: 45 mins of exercise and 8 glasses of water
    today: 85 mins of exercise and 8 glasses of water (i'm going to walk to the mail box too and thats about a 10 min walk from my apartment. so its almost 20 mins total)

    okay guys! be strong and stay positive!!! we can do this!!! :glasses: :flowerforyou: :bigsmile: :smile: :tongue:

    Ariel - the shoes are probably making a difference in your workouts. Put pretty soon you will start seeing a difference and you won't want to go back to no shoes or different shoes. I think that your birthday goal is great. You can do this. One day, one week at a time.

    Karen - I am sure you are posted now or will soon so I hope you had more energy then me this morning and you got up to workout.

    Tuesday - I went for a walk at lunch so I ended up with 30 min for the day. Did good with water and calories (even though I ate a Weight Watchers vanilla ice cream sandwich after dinner - boy was it good).

    Wednesday - I was lazy and did not get out of bed this morning. My son came in the room around 5:30 and so I just cuddled with him until it was time to shower. I will go for at least a 30 min work at lunch.

    We are half way through the week. Yeah.

    Well I didn't get a chance to get in any more exercise yesterday aside from the walking and the shred. But thats okay. I was at my dad's and my sister wanted to come by because they just got back from Vegas and she wanted to give me my present. She said she would be there in 30 mins. Almost an hour and a half later she finally shows up. At that point its 8 and I wanted to see her for a little so I left at 9. i cant exercise after 9 because my downstairs neightbor asked me not too. :cry: I understand, but it kinda sucks because I really wanted to get in some more. But hopefully today I will. Mandy is back so after we shred we will probably go play tenis for a little bit. Then I'm going to try talking her into doing the shred again, and i'm going to make her walk with me to the mailbox. hahaha :laugh: she needs to make up for not exercising this week and going to vegas. lol. But I was good with my calories and with my water so thats good. But I really gotta focus. I think since I'm feeling better about my weight now, that I'm kinda slacking and I dont want to be like that. I do still need to lose at least 10 more pounds, so I gotta keep going! :glasses: I wont quit though! I will make it to my goal! I'm so close, I can almost taste it! Skinny..... that hasn't been something to describ me in a long time. And I'm almost here!! :heart:

    yesterday: 45 mins of exercise 8 glasses of water
    today: 117 mins of exercise and 8 glasses of water

    well I hope you uys have a good day and be strong!

    Good morning

    Wednesday - I went for a walk at lunch. I got in 10 glasses of water, but I think I may have gone over my calories by about 100.

    Thursday - I got up and did 40 min of workout (halfa--). I was not in the mood. My son had two nightterrors last night, which made me exhausted this morning. I will try to go for another walk at lunch and hopefully that will perk me up a bit.

    Ariel - glad you got in some workout. You are doing great.

    It's Friday!!! YAY!! :bigsmile: :laugh: And it's payday. SO its a good day. Well I didnt get in more than 45 mins of exercise yesterday. I was supposed to do something so I sat around waiting, but it never happened. So i was really pissed. But I'm doing it today. And I'm going to exercise tomorrow too.

    Kim- I sometimes halfa-- my workouts too. :wink: I try as hard as I can to do it correctly, but sometimes I am just too tired to do it the right way. but its okay. You still do it, which is what counts! :smile: Good job!

    hi guys! just wanted to log in real quick and tell you i lost 3.5 pounds last week!!!! When i weighed myself last weekend i was 161.5 now i'm 158!! woohoo!! 8 pounds to my goal! but i might want to lose another 5 to 10 once i get there! i'm so excited!!! anyways, i'm going to see avatar in 3d so gotta run!! bye bye!!!

    Thank you Ariel and Kim for the motivation. You are both right - I've just got to get myself in gear and do this! I just need to make myself! I can eat healthy all day and drink all the water, but it's just getting myself off the couch or out of the bed to exercise! I just need to take it one day at a time.....I'll really try! Thanks again!!! You rock! :bigsmile:

    K#2 - good job on losing more lbs! Way to go! :happy:

    yes just take it one day at a time. And if you cant get in any exercise thats okay. Dont beat yourself up over it. I haven't really exercised the last 2 days so I'm right there with you! It seems since I'm closer to my goal that I dont feel like I need to work as hard, but I shouldn't be thinking that way. I should be thinking i should step it up to make sure i get to my goal as fast as possible. i know once i get there i will probably want to lose another 5 or 10 pounds so i need to really work hard. You will get there! I know it!

    I hope everyone comes back soon. :cry: stay strong guys!!!

    Oh also, Kim- I'm coming to Vegas, baby!!! :glasses: haha. i'm going for my sisters b-day. I'll be there March 12th-14th! I'm so excited! we booked our rooms at the excalibur last night. I dont know if you ever make it to the strip or not, but if you know of some really cool places to go, let me know please! i'm going to check out most of the free stuff like the aquarium and the museums but if you know of places that are good to go to for drinks or shows or whatever, can you tell me? :smile:

    Hey everyone... I'm back, hopefully for good. Just trying to get a routine re-started, trying to find a happy medium between not thinking about health at all and worrying about it way too much. Not sure how well it's gonna work, but I have to try. Hope everyone had a good Valentine's Day (if that's something you celebrate; I don't because I think it's silly) and I hope at least some of you got today off for Presidents' Day! I did! :happy:

    Glad you're back!! Maybe others will start coming back too! I know its hard to get off track and even harder to make yourself get back on board, but I know as long as you continue to try, you will get there!! I didnt have today off :frown: but thats okay. and I had a good Valentines day up until the point where my roommate sent me a text saying her boyfriend proposed to her. :sad: her boyfriend never has any money and hes 50k in debt! i dont understand how he can get money to buy her an engagement ring but my boyfriend cant!? in september we will celebrate our 7 year anniversary. still no engagement ring. he keeps saying it will happen but nothing ever does. i thought for sure i would be engaged before Angela, but nope! I was wrong. all of these people I know keep getting engaged and they have all been together for not even half the time that derrick and i have been! its not fair! i want a nice ring too :cry: and i'm sure they're going to be all talking about it and oh so happy. but i know i will end up saying something like "okay shut up, i dont want to hear about it" and that sucks. i should be happy for them. but im not. i resent them for it. and i resent my boyfriend for not making an effort. sometimes i dont think i will ever get a rong from him. and that sucks because i want to get married and all that stuff but i cant make him give me something he doesnt want to. oh woah is me :cry:

    i dance sometimes. my walking partner did bail but me and my gf have been walking together and trying to do our best with the jillian micheals last chance workout from the biggest loser. It's hard and I dont do it the six days that it says on there and I havn't left week one but i do it 3-4 days a week. I still drink my water but my hardest thing is my diet. how do you guys that have to worry about cooking for others stay on your diet and what are your tips. cause i find it hard with two different people buying waaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyy different groceries. i did find my replacement for ice cream. Frozen yogurt!!!! i found them at picknsave they are twice the size of ittz bittz (my fave) and only 150ish calories (depending on the flavor) and 1 GRAM OF FAT compared to 13 in half the size ittz bitzz! and they are soooooo gooood. well any way

    582 calories for running up and down stairs for 30 mins? seriously!? i started the c25k and we go to the track at the school, maybe i can get my roommate and sister to go up and down the bleachers too!!! is that really how much you burn doing that!? because if so i am soooo doing that!

    so i was bad last night. i ate burker king :cry: i went over my fat but a few but thats all. hopefully it doesnt mess me up and i still lose at least 2 pounds this week. i'm trying hard. ive been good so far. got in 65 mins of exercise yesterday. i only got 40 on monday but thats okay, i'm going to make sure i get 65 today. and no BK! lol :laugh: well i gotta start working now. hope everyone stays strong!!! and come back everyone please!!! i'm selfish and need you all!! lol :laugh: :happy:

    Good morning everyone. Sorry I was out for a while. I am trying to get back on track. I have been down in the dumps the past few weeks. I am not in the mood to exercise, I would prefer to just hang out with my son. But I am going to try and get back into it. I have been watching what I eat, but I haven't been logging in and I haven't weighed in for two weeks.

    So I am going to try and get back on track. I did not workout this morning, but I went for a 35 min jog yesterday afternoon which made me feel great.

    I will check back later.

    its Friday! and payday!! :bigsmile: i got in an 50 mins of exercise yesterday. i really like to c25k. it sucks while youre doing it but i feel great afterwards. hopefully it slims down my legs. i feel like theyre fat still so i'm hoping this helps make them a little smaller. but we will see. i'm athletic built so i will never have skinny legs. ever. they're really muscular. and thats okay. i played softball my whole life so theyve never been "skinny". i'm worried to weigh myself though..... i dont know why. i just hope i lose at least 2 pounds. well i gotta get working now. ttyl!!! :flowerforyou:

    Great pics Ariel.

    Still have not worked out, but I have been walking alot from one meeting to the next. I used map my run to see the distances I walk around campus. I probably walk about 2 miles a day without even thinking about it.

    Calories have been good and so has water.

    its Monday, yay...... NOT! and i lost 1 pound last week. so that means im not exercising enough. i was only working out about 40 mins everyday last week. so i guess i will be doing the c25k everyday plus the shred. to make sure i'm burning enough. i'm 6 pounds from my 1st goal and i want to get there asap!! i wanted to be at 150 by the time we go to Vegas but I dont think that will happen. but I'll be close as long as I can lose 2 pounds this week and 2 pounds next week.

    kim- thats awesome you get to walk so much! 2 miles a day is great!! :drinker: i would say you probably dont really need to exercise a whole lot if youre walking that much. keep up the good work!! :flowerforyou:

    today i'm going to exercise for 65 mins. c25k and the shred plus my walking. be strong and have a great monday!! :glasses:

    Ariel - you are doing great. 1 pound is 1 pound. When are you coming to Vegas?

    I jogged 33 min on Saturday and walked to the park on Sunday. Set my alarm to get up this morning, but didn't so no workout yet today.
