My Wife and I are doing the Jillian Michaels Body Revolution 12 week DVD Set together but when I go to log it in my MFP App it isn't there. JMBR is a 30 minute a day 6 day a week weight and cardio work out. There are 4 days of Weights/Cardio and one day of Straight Cardio each week (M-S w Sundays off). Basically it's a mix between weights, yoga and cardio.

Any suggestions from anyone on here how to track my work outs?

God Bless!!

There's actually a group for Body Revolution http://www.myfitnesspal.com/groups/home/2883-jillian-michaels-body-revolution

The best way to track your burn is using a heart rate monitor. You'll see on the discussion group that people also use the Circuit Training exercise type to track, but it may be too high/too low depending on your weight.

Buy a FitBit to keep track of your workouts. It's an expensive device but I love it and use it everyday. It tracks everything and I believe it's pretty accurate. You can check it out under the APPS tab on upper left, but I just bought mine on Ebay and saved about $10.

You can add it to your exercises yourself....I did it myself and added it under cardio as Body Revolution. Good luck with it, it's an awesome workout and the results are amazing!

    /\ THIS!!!

Any time I try/start a "new" workout, I wear a HRM at least one or two times to get an idea of how many calories I'm burning. No friggin' way am I going to let the pre-programmed MFP calculations cheat me out of even one calorie burned!!

high five! I love my Polar FT4. It's simple - I don't need fancy tracking tools. I just want to know how many calories Jillian & crew have gotten me to burn :)
