I ate 5,500 calories of fat flush soup per day, it didn't work at all.
  • Well I haven't done the diet I just like the soup.... just didn't know if there was any truth too the diet... I have read the means behind it and it seems logical that you could lose weight with it but I don't wanna eat soup all the time

    Completely agree.

(However, if your diet is called <insert era name> diet, then it might be worth trying.)

If you need a regimented plan to stick to and are on fairly low calories, Fat Flush isn't a bad plan. It's real food and about 1200 calories a day to start, then you add things back in slowly for maintenance. I did it years ago and lost, got bored....
This time I'm doing it my way. I do however still use the recipes and drink cranwater alot, and if you like the soup it's a great low cal go to.

He was being silly, basically saying it doesn't matter WHAT it is you eat, if you eat too much (too many calories) you won't lose weight. Calorie deficit is the only way to lose weight. They sell books and diets by telling you that one particular soup/food/combo is the magic bullet, but, luckily, it's never true. :)

There are worse fat diets than one that prescribes a healthful soup with lean meat, beans and vegetables, lots of veggies, eggs for protein and green salads, but I think it would get old pretty quickly.

I have not tried it, I have stuck to exercising and eating the right foods, I've lost 41 lbs since Aug 4th, with the help of MFP and 10 lbs in June/July just eating what ever I wanted to just not drinking soda.

^^^ You lose weight with any diet that keeps you in a calorie deficit. There's nothing magical or different about it.

Just from googling it, it looks like it's full of lots of veggies and other good-for-you ingredients. I'm sure you could find a way to fit it in as a low calorie option. I always try to fit in as many veggies as I can, and this looks like a good way to do so, especially - as you said - in winter. I catch colds easily so I try to fit in as much fresh produce as possible to help keep my body ready to fight :)

We are a little silly here, but we mean well. Have a great day.

This is not a special diet. This is using CHILI to regulate your calorie intake. Do not be mistaken by the gimmicky name... you are eating a 'kitchen sink' chili, which is probably totally delicious, and low in calories, and that's really all there is to it.

If you could reduce the number of calories you ate, and stayed satiated eating turkey sandwiches, you could call it Skinny Stuff Sandwich and unsuspecting folk all over the nation would flip their lids at the amazing new diet.

I've never heard of it. Had to google it. I thought you were talking about the cabbage soup which I hatehatehate.

The recipe sounds pretty yummy actually! http://www.annlouise.com/blog/2012/01/24/my-2012-fat-flush-soup-recipe-customized-for-your-needs/

I'm gonna cook it, and incorporate it in my food regime. I try to eat more soups but its hard.
    Thanks for posting :)

Can we just flush it and forget it? PLEASE???
