Healthy Fats

I've been seeing a lot of information that the fats contained in olive oil, avocados and nuts are healthy fats as opposed to hydrogenated oils and the fats contained in meat and palm oil. Would it not make sense to only track the "unhealthy" fats and subtract the healthy fats? I would hate to not be getting enough healthy fats just because I was worried about having my fat counter going into the "red". It would be sort of a "net fats" accounting.

I wonder about this as well, not just with fats but with carbs (simple vs comlex).
I read a lot about healthy diets, but sometimes it seems like I have a lot of information and not much actual knowledge, and those days I start to think I need to be a scientist to figure out what makes a healthy diet. Ultimately, I try to keep my fats and carbs as healthy as I can, and sometimes go above how much fat I should have.
In my perfect world MFP would track this, and also track my daily servings of fruit and vegetables. I know that different types of produce have different serving sizes, and I can't really be bothered looking everything up on more than one website.0 -
while the body treats all carbs exactly the same way, it does not for fats.
I eat a diet of about 80% EFAs, making sure that NONE are trans, NONE are hydrogenated. I get more Omega 3s in than 6 and 9. Healthy, healthy, healthy!
I don't bother dividing up my EFA intake because I avoid all of the bad fats and eat only good fats.
