Hi,
I know the importance of eating enough calories. I always try to stay at the calories the MFP says I should be eating.
My question is: some days I am really hungry and other days I am not hungry. The days that I don't seem to be as hungry should I still eat at times when not hungry just to get the calories in. This is what I have been doing because I do not want to go under the calories needed
TIA

Its so good that you're concerned with this!
I'm no expert, butl I don't think anyone should force themselves to eat when they are not hungry.
But what you could do is try incorporate high calorie foods - such as olive oil on your salad, avocado with your lunch, or peanut butter as a snack- these are healthy yet are more calorie dense, so if you incorporate these in your day, you'll fill up your calories more. But again, I wouldn't say for you to eat something of you're not hungry0 -
i try to eat five to six times a day whether i like it or not ..if i plan it ahead of time then im fine .. if i dont then i eat less times a day but more unhealthy0

I am having the same problem. Most days I have no problem getting my calories in, but there are some days when I am just not as hungry. I don't think you should force yourself to eat just to meet a calorie goal. Now if you're eating an insanely low amount of calories then maybe you should, but otherwise I think it's fine to be under by a little bit. In my opinion your body will let you know if it needs more calories by you feeling hungry, if that's not happening then you probably don't need to eat. I'm definitely no where near an expert though so feel free to take this advice with a grain of salt.
I also think the advice about eating more calorie dense foods is good. There are a lot of healthy options that have more calories in them such as peanut butter which might help you to raise your caloric intake.0
