Couch to 5k AND 30DS?

My resolution for 2013 is to run a 5k every month. I am awful at running, so I started the couch to 5k training program. A friend has convinced me to sign up for the Cupid's Undie Run in February. Which is a mile-ish long run, that you do in your underwear. Anyways, as a result I really want to do the 30 day shred. Has anyone done both programs at the same time? Should I wait until I'm half way through the couch to 5k, and then start the 30 day shred? What is your opinion/advice?

    I'm doing both at the moment actually! I'm only on week 2 of C25k, my fun run is in Feb too. 've been doing 30DS for a while now (on lvl3) and usually pair that workout with either my cardio or strength days. Because it's circuit training it'll make you fitter and will improve your endurance! I say do it, but if both in the same day is making you too tired then split it up :-) good luck with everything!

    I started the c25k last year in May, and then did 30DS when I had my "off days"
    I still gave myself 1 or 2 rest days a week.
    It really worked!
    I ran a half marathon 3 months later :)

    At the moment (since I have fallen out of running shape.. and just shape in general...) I'm doing the end part of the c25k to get back into it, and supplementing with Jillians "ripped in 30"
    Mostly because I've been doing the 30DS for years and I needed a change.
