I didn't know in which room to post this. Has anybody here had a heart attack? What were the symptoms and did you have to modify your fitness program after treatment?

I can't help you with an answer, but you might get a better response if you put "Question about Heart Attack" or something along those lines in your subject. HTH.0

Agreed. You attract more bees with a sign that says "Bees Wanted Here" than with a sign that says "Morbid Question".
Also, I don't find this question morbid at all. Seems legit and I'd bet there are many here than can shed light on the subject.0 -
No experience but I do remember hearing that womans symptoms are totally different to mens. Women don't necessarily feel a pain in their chest like men their symptoms can be fatigue, back pain, etc...
I would talk to your doctor if you were concerned x0 -

I love this - "Bees Wanted Here" made my day!
It sounds like a question you should ask of your doctor so you get a good picture of the symptoms against your own situation and likelihood of having one and steps to avoid.0 -

Female Heart Attack survivor here with stents placed. I had classic symptoms, chest and arm pains, heavy sweating and that elephant on my chest and that nagging voice in my head saying your gonna die. A lot of women do not have these symptoms but will have back or jaw pain and dismiss it as something else. Yes your fitness program will change and will have to be brought back up slowly, depending on if you have damage to the heart muscle or not
If you think you may have had a heart attack or are having one dont hesitate to see a Dr.0 -
Thank you. No, it's not about me. Thank goodness my ticker is just fine. I was talking to a friend yesterday and the subject came up.0
