Mixing it up

I've been losing weight slowly but steadily over the past 2 months and then 2 weeks went by with no weight loss at all, but a half pound weight gain. So, I deliberately decided to not worry about it for a few days, eat whatever, and I lost 2.5 pounds as a result.
Anyone ever tried that?

I've had this happen in the past. Sometimes logic goes out the window and it does seem like your body needs a shock.0
