MFP helps more than I thought!

Hey everyone! Just thought I would share...
I started MPF in the spring to help get my eating under control. I continued through the summer and started to feel a little better although I had only lost a few pounds. I started to get stressed writing my thesis and slowly stopped logging and tracking my food. Over the last two months I've gained 7lbs.
I thought that MPF was just a waste in this busy and stressful time in my life. Turns out MFP was actually helping me control my stress eating and alcohol intake and preventing me from gaining. I have decided to start again, to regain control of my eating habits. I may not loose a ton right away but at least I can make sure I don't gain!!

Agreed...Since I've started it has really shown me how much I over ate. I've never kept track until now..and I love doing it!0

I know it was and still is a great tool for me. First time ever I have lost the weight and been able to maintain the loss.
As for the time line, don't sweat it. It took me two years to get to where I am. Slow and Steady wins the race.0
