Third time's the charm, right?

Hey everyone,
This is my third time starting on MFP. Last time I found a great group of supporters and was able to lose about 15 lbs. I got cocky, and summer was here and I stopped tracking. BAD IDEA. I gained it all back plus some extra lbs. I had a horrible weekend where I just pictures of my self and didn't like how I felt anymore. My students this year ask me how they remember what I used to look like a few years ago and why I don't look like that anymore. Worst of all is that my son is now 5 and I don't want him growing up with a Fat Daddy. Time to make a change. Thanks for listening and I look forward to being inspired by you guys and hopefully inspiring others.

Hi Usual,
This is my second time so I know where you are coming from. I've been getting a little chunky over the past 6 months and never really realised until I was half way through my second box of Jaffa Cakes!!!
Getting myself back on track now with the help of the GL (not GI) diet and a little bit of fasting in between (seems to be the new 'in thing').
Please feel free to add me. I'm very happy to give support and a gentle kick up the bum when needed - I will need it too.
I wish you well on your journey and before you know it you'll be kicking the ball around with your son like Rooney! (not a big football fan but it's a name I recognise!).
Good luck and here's to a new you! :drinker: :bigsmile:0 -
