One of my favorites too! I think that was one I made up all on my own. I went to Michaels and bought a million poinsettias with gold glitter and stuck them into the tree. I bunched like 6 together to make the top pc (where a star would normally go) and then used gold bows throughout the rest. I used red poinsettia garland on my banisters/railing too. LOVE those things!

I might steal some of those ideas. I want my tree this year to be the best yet. I will re-bump this thread with a picture once it's up :)

Another great idea is go to Michaels/AC Moore or whatever your local crafts store is right after Christmas when everything is 75-90% off and plan your tree for the following year. That's how I eneded up with all the garland. I have enough this year to do the banisters, railings, door frames, enough to make my own door wreath and even swags for the entrance way!

    Have fun!

Nuts, I don't have a picture of it on this computer, but yes we do have a theme.

White tree, purple decorations + lights, with a few quirky ornaments (usually a new one every xmas). This year we're doing pink lights though.

Also, as I'm not religious, we don't have a star or angel on the top....it's a mini sombrero. I like spicy food and burritos.
