Can someone talk to me about vitamins!?!

I want to start taking a daily multivitamin plus an omega 3 suppliment. Yes, I know food is the best source and I eat great but I want to add to it, especially since I don't a lot of fish. There are so many gimmics and crap and "dr.oz" says vitamins that I could care less about so I don't know what is a " credible" source. When I was pregnant I took the brand New Chapter and loved them but was wondering what else is out there!?! Thanks for your input!
