I have a half marathon in January!

And I'm going to do it. I signed up in June (Tinkerbell Half Marathon) at the behest of friends. Three girlfriends are doing it with me, or rather I'm doing it with them! Haha. I've been training off and on, I'm walking, of course. But I'm still not that great at running and I really need to become lighter, weight wise. My food choices weren't great over the summer. And I know I have a little over two months (65 days! OMG) but I am really hitting the pavement here with eating choices. No sugar, in fact, until Tinkerbell. Or after, rather.

So bottomline. I'm really just starting my weight loss journey and hoping to get into better shape in these last two months. And I'm hoping to meet others who are doing the same (not exactly half marathons, I wouldn't wish that on anyone haha), but wanting to get into shape and become runners!
