So I take a one a day for Women and also Fish oil,I read some where that you should add b-12 because it boost your metabolism, but the one a day already has b-12 so my question is do I take an extra b-12? or is whats in the one a day the right amount? Vitamins really confused me so any help is appreciated!

Are you trying to boost your metabolism to lose weight by taking B12? If you are taking a multi, and you eat animal products, I doubt that you need more. It's not going to help you lose weight, if that's what you're thinking.

Your body eliminates excess B in your urine. I wouldn't supplement more B12 unless you are found to be deficient through blood testing. Don't waste your money.

    Just eat well.

With 20 pounds to lose, it will be slow going, no mater what.

Set your Goals here with this is mind:

If you have 75+ lbs to lose 2 lbs/week is ideal,
If you have 40-75 lbs to lose 1.5 lbs/week is ideal,
If you have 25-40 lbs to lose 1 lbs/week is ideal,
If you have 15 -25 lbs to lose 0.5 to 1.0 lbs/week is ideal, and
If you have less than 15 lbs to lose 0.5 lbs/week is ideal.

Trying to lose any faster will just make it harder. Best thing you could do is really clean up your food plan, buy a food scale to make sure you are tracking correctly, and increase your exercise program, including lifting weights.

I have been told the less you have to lose the harder it is. At one point I got down to 10 pounds from my goal and plateued for so long I got frustrated and gave up, so here I am starting almost over with 20 pounds. I think my working out is what holds me back, I really have no clue what I am doing lol. I generally work out 25 mins a day with a mix of plyo, cardio, I will work on a certain area like buns and thighs or just abs, but truly I have no idea how long I should work for. this whole thing is very frustrating lol!

I guess I shouldn't say its only works outs that hold me back, I am an impulse eater and If I am walking b something that smells good I will eat it whether its healthy or not!

I would suggest asking your doctor, just to be on the safe side

I wouldn't add b12 just for metabolic reasons, but I would add it if you need an extra boost of energy. I take sub lingual B12 when I need a boost, in the afternoon or before a work out.
