I-83 corridor and running indoors

The days are getting shorter, the weather is getting colder. I'd like to run on somewhere that isn't a treadmill, but still inside.

I work in North Baltimore, and drive back to York PA. Does anyone have any suggestions where to run inside in the evenings? Are there gyms big enough for a track?

At the weekend it is no problem to get outside, just got a weekday problem.

Why not just go over to the NCR trail. It's flat and there are no cars. Get a headlamp and have at it.

I don't know of any indoor tracks in the area. I've worked in Hunt Valley in the past. I don't even think the MAC in Towson has a track.

I would say it is because I'm afraid of the dark, but the reality is I'm a clutz and would trip over anything in the dark :)

I just learned that the YMCA in downtown York has an indoor track. There is a staircase near the front desk and apparently it leads to a track.

I haven't gone up there yet. But I do have a Y membership.
