Okay I just made some szechuan chicken, and I have NO idea how to know how many calories it was! It was a recipe from the back of a pack of generic frozen vegetables. I know what all I put in it to make the sauce, but I don't know how to figure like calories per portion. I could figure everything up, but it would be for the whole bag. Help :-)

Go to http://recipes.sparkpeople.com/browse-recipes.asp and use the recipe calculator. After you figure it out you will then divide it by x number of servings. You just need to try to get the calories to a reasonable amount. I then weigh mine and divide it by that many number of serving. If you don't have a scale then you will have to measuring it into cups and figure it out that way.0

When I make something homemade and don't know what the nutrition info is, I've just been looking through the database for prepacked foods (not fast food places though) and use those nutritional facts.0
