Hey all. Dad of a 1-year old who ties to work out before showering in the morning and head out the door by 7:15. My son has a lo to say about my morning routine though. So I'm looking for super quick, super easy, HIGH PROTEIN breakfast ideas. Does such a thing exist? Help a dad on the go out. Thanks!

Hard boiled eggs, cottage cheese, yogurt, chicken breast...
Or get ingredients ready for a high protein smoothie and take it on the go.0 -
I would say some sort of protein smoothie as well. Then you can drink it on the go!0

I eat 3 pieces of turkey bacon and 1 egg every morning. It's easy because I just put the turkey bacon in the pan while I put on my makeup, then the egg while I pack my lunch.
Or you could cook it the night before and just pop it in the microwave the next morning0 -
My almost daily breakfast is a Snackwell's Peanut Butter Protein Bar - 8grams of protein. Not sure if that's what you'd call high protein, or how you feel about bars such as these; however it works perfectly for me to eat in the car on the way to work (high school teacher who is not a morning person - getting up to make something is not happening ;-)).0

My go to for a quick breakfast is a fiber bar, yogurt and fruit. Or have Kashi GoLean cereal instead of the fiber bar...still has alot of fiber and is high in protein to boot. I looked it up....it really is more than an egg by quite a bit!!0

I make breakfast Burritos. eggs, one slice of cheese, turkey sasage,in flour tortillia. Make up alot wrap in wax paper and freeze. Take one out in micro for 2mins out the door and eat in car. My family loves them and they are very fast and easy.0

You could wrap and freeze breakfast burritos. Use WW shell, Quinoa, egg, turkey sausage, cheese, and veggies. You could make enough to last the whole week.
Also you could make egg muffins. Just crack and egg in a muffin pan and add cheese. cook on 350 till they rise. Just pop in the microwave and go.
Cliff bars and good too.
In-case you don't know, quinoa is a WW rice base, its pretty tasteless so it is just very very filling. Except its better for you than rice because it has more protein and less carbs.
Good luck0 -

Porridge topped with natural nuts, seeds, frozen berries
Poached eggs on a bed of wilted spinach
Savoury crustless mini quiche (make ahead in muffin trays for a super quick breakfast - can freeze) with corn, bacon/chicken, spinach, cherry tomatoes
2x Hard boiled eggs (can make night before) and a protein shake
Natural yoghurt with chopped fruit, topped with natural muesli, nuts & seeds
Bircher muesli (prepared night before)
Sautee'd mushrooms & spinach on toast (chop mushrooms and spinach the night before to quickly cook in the morning)0 -
Greek yogurt (23 grams protein in 1 cup) with some thawed frozen blueberries in it. Cottage cheese, low fat with fresh peach cut up in it. Kashi Go Lean (13 gram protein) cereal with skim milk. A protein shake(23 grams protein) with a banana blended in it or make it with instant coffee instead of water or milk for a cool coffee drink. I make this and use sugar free hazelnut syrup in it to flavor it. A deviled egg or two that you make the night before using Greek yogurt instead of mayonnaise. Jimmy Dean Delights (260 cal. and high protein) they are made with whole wheat English muffins, turkey sausage, egg whites and low fat cheese. I get them at Sam's Club, 2 minutes in the microwave and you have a great, quick breakfast that will keep you full for a while.0

Think outside the box. It can be ANY food, not just "breakfast food".
Heat the leftovers from last night.
after supper make a sandwich or wrap with meat, cheese, and veggies, bag and refrigerate. then it's ready to go in the morning.0 -
Cottage cheese with a couple of shakes of pumpkin pie spice.
Hard boiled egg, two slices of deli ham, slice of cheddar cheese.
Unjury chocolate splendor protein powder & 8 oz skim milk. Shake/stir.
Mozzarella string cheese & beef jerkey.
Mini frittata: egg, cheese, veggies, meat of choice. Prep like making an omelette but instead of cooking stovetop, pour into cupcake tin (spray with Pam) and bake on 350 for 10-15 min. These freeze well and microwave easily.
