I want to do a bodyweight get-up like this:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I-9ae-vYRW8
without using my hands to transition from the crunch or relying too much on one leg, anyone got tips?
I try to shift my weight forward, over my crossed feet, but I suck.

Maybe try a turkish get up first. They are not quite as difficult and it exercises the whole body.
A prisoner get up might cause unnecessary stress to your neck and ankles if you're not sure what you're doing.0 -
That's a good idea, thank you
I want something for an aerobic workout between strength days that doesn't call too much on legs. I can totally do the Turkish ones with the 3 pounders collecting dust in my closet. Won't be as elegant as the vid above, but that's not really the point, I guess!0
