Do you gain weight when you exercise?

Hi guys,

I just started a new intensive workout routine 3 weeks ago and I noticed slight decrease in my weight ( about 1 pound in 3 weeks) . My routine is 6 days/week, including about 1 hour Cardio and 30 minutes Strength everyday. and Take one day rest. I have heard that you might gain weight because of the muscles but eventually you will lose this extra weight. So my question is, if this happened to you before, when did you notice the loss of your weight? Besides If you burn 700 Cal in average daily, do you eat all of them or what? Thanks and really appreciated any imput

If you are close to goal you might see a gain on the scale when you are gaining muscle, but you may lose in clothes size. I now wear the same size I wore when I was 15 lbs lighter. I am liking my shape now better and hope to keep improving my shape. I want to firm it all up and have a nice girly shape.

Apparently your muscles hold onto water when they're repairing.
