I turn to food for both comfort and rewards, well I used to- starting today that stopped. I am making a list of non food comforts and rewards. What are some of yours? My all time fav is reading a good book while taking a bath, I read every night and it is all to easy to grab something unhealthy to snack on but when I am in the bath I can't do that lol.

Now how did I know you were gonna say that? Actually, I was getting ready to respond with, "New camera equipment."0 -
One of the most awesome things ever is a mani-pedi with paraffin wax treatment.
Semi-food related: I love the feel of a hot coffee mug cradled in the palms of my hands. That's maybe even more soothing than whatever's in the cup.
Paying someone else to detail my car
Fresh flowers for somewhere in my home
Guilt-free video game time
New shoes
Really nice, new bedsheets
A new color of eyeshadow or nail polish
Diamonds!0 -
Getting a pedicure complete with the spa chair, leg massage, etc. Mani-Pedi if possible I had my first hour long massage last month--that could be in the running for the next benchmark, too.
Someone else said this, too, but my favorite reward is results. I've been stuck in the same 5 pound band for over a month now, up and down. I feel smaller, so I'm sure part of it is my body (Garmin voice here) REEEE-calculating. Some days I know it's just water. Either way, it is very discouraging. The days when the scale has a smaller number, and I am rested and hydrated, those are the days I walk on air all day.0
