When i went to the doctor for my weight she sent me for blood work. She asked me if I always had acne I said more so now although I dont understand i dont eat sugar. She told me acne isnt caused by eating sweets but by hormones. When the blood work came back everything was good. My face looks terrible lately. i know its tom but i seem to be breaking out more now that im eating healthier...what gives?

Maybe this is a stupid question, but are you washing your face with a gentle cleanser before and after you work-out?
Washing before a work-out keeps you from getting blackheads, which (for me at least) can easily turn into full blown zits.

Try Cetaphil; it's extremely gentle on your skin, but totally gets the job done!
    Also...MOISTURIZE!

I started suffering from acne when I was 27, I'm now almost 43 and STILL take medicaton for it

You dont have to suffer, there is medication you can take and cream you can use. Go back and ask your Dr for some help.

    Good Luck

Yes, go back to your doctor and ask for help. Perhaps a prescription for a topic medication, or at least advice on an over the counter medication. (A helpful pharmacist could help with this.) Since you just saw your doctor, you might be able to get the prescription by just giving a call to the office, and not needing to go in again. Besides the advice you've already read about gentle washing, try changing your pillowcase daily so you are not sleeping on bacteria all night from old oil and sweat. And if you are using a headset for a phone or Xbox, etc, wipe it daily with alcohol where it rubs against your face.
Good luck. A healthy diet should not be affecting your skin, except to make it healthier. Check with your doctor.

What are you eating differently? Also I agree with the face wash thing after working out.
