Tracking cals burned when doing cardio with weights?

I use 8lb weights with almost all of my cardio exercises.. Wouldn't that burn much more than what MFP tells me? What is the best way to know exactly how much more I'm burning than cardio alone?
P.S. I don't have a heart rate monitor.

without a heartrate monitor you wouldnt accurately be able to tell unless you have similar body types with heart rate monitors doing the same workouts to tell you.
P90X is fairly intense cardio and strength combined. I try to underestimate that at 400 calories as i know some of them are a few hundred more but stuff like the yogaX is less. Go with 300 or 400 as long as you're working hard and sweating. its better to drastically underestimate your workout.0 -
I guess I could try and count my pulse quickly mid-workout a few times... Or run out into the garage and stick my finger on my treadmill LOL0
