Maybe it's the fact that I've had too much caffeine already today, but my co-workers are making me batty! Between continuous interruptions, stupid mistakes, last minute requests, and absurd assumptions I'm ready to scream. LOL

What "fun" stuff have your co-workers done today?

*she says gripping the scissors unnecessarily tight, with those wild eyes...*

This might turn into a page turner or at least make the 6pm news, haha.

How about when they use your stuff without asking, then when you need it it's nowhere to be found :explode:

    NO KIDDING!

I'm happy to share things with people as long as they ask! I had someone walk into my office today, while I was on the phone and "borrow" my sweatshirt...without asking...

    Um...

    @avir8, you have my sympathies!!!

lets see, the guy who sits to the left of me is a nose breather who also sniffs constantly & touches his nose all the time then if something comes away on his fingers spends about 5 minutes investigating it before flicking it across the office, the guy 2 right of me wears the same suit jacket every day & has done for 8 years & I don't think it has ever been cleaned, he also apologises profusely all the time for no reason which is incredibly annoying & we have nicknamed him Jelly cause he is spineless when it comes to his wife, she treats him like crap & he seems to think it is acceptable. the guy who sits directly to my right is on the phone for about 7.5 of the 8hrs a day at work, arranging his social life & chatting to his numerous gf's. That said, we laugh all day & get along great but that doesn't stop them having personal habits that either gross me out or piss me off, they just don't bother me enough to make my working day crap.

oh & we have a running tally on how long any of us can go without making a sexual innuendo, the current record is 23 minutes with no inappropriate comment since coming into the office in the morning, the average is about 6 minutes.

I'm pretty sure I annoy the bejebus out of them all too, I am caustic & *****y all day, pick on them, make them get me cups of tea & what not & never ever collect my printing as I know one or the other of them are going to collect something at some time & if someone tries to show me something I usually zone out & check my twitter instead. good times.

    edit:

and I know for a fact that taking over an hour to eat my breakfast & lunch (I'm a super slow eater) bugs them too so of course I deliberately eat even slower than normal.

I have one who leaves vmails of the "This is steve, give me a call when you have a chance. it's really really important...."
Obviously, not important enough for you to leave me any details or information.

And I'd like to compliment you on starting this thread and having it get to over a dozen posts without somebody jumping in and telling you how horrible you are because you started a thread that wasn't about unicorns or rainbows.

I schedule staff so I know way more about my coworkers then I've ever thought possible.

I have one who keeps straining his schedule to be more and more unavailable everyday...

He first wanted to get three day weekends every week so we gave him Friday, Saturday and Sundays off.

Then he wanted to sleep in so we won't work him earlier then 10AM.

THEN today he also whines that he gets off at 5PM and would prefer to leave at 4PM.

Oh and he doesn't want to be "stressed" with more then 15 hours of work a week.... LOL!

AND he hates working in the busier offices, he prefers the ones he can drool and do his homework in.

Also he got very upset over taking on any responsibilities so we stripped him of them all and just expect him to sit around.

And when I'm working with him he will not try to find the answer to a problem... he has to have one of us figure it out for him.

It's absolutely mind boggling and pathetic. This guy has never excelled at anything and has never moved up or been given any responsibilities.

I have no idea how the hell we deal with it... probably because nobody really gives a damn. LOL. I really am going to laugh though when he graduates with his super stressful Sociology Degree and can't find a job to hold because nobody else out there in the world will baby him like we have.

Oh boy, where do I start?

    - I had a manager who got demoted but is somehow still the team lead. Of no one. So he says. He has worked an average of 3.5 full days a week for the last 7 months.

    - We recently had an expansion where we upgraded to new technology. He does not understand it at all, but feels the need to critique our recordings as a way to make them "better for the public."

    - He is in charge of the final decisions of the expansion before he goes to the board for approval. He recently sent out an e-mail to the board saying we needed a ridiculously huge screen installed into a room, only to find out that there are 12 inches to a foot, not 10. From the CEO.

    - To top it all off - he drinks pop before 10am, has a bag of chips before noon and openly stares from across the room. GROSS

My co-worker keeps staring at me, pawing at the chair, the wall, my leg, barking at me.. like really "back talking" me. He actually wanted me to take him to the bathroom. He does this every day about this time.

Oh I guess I should add that I work from home and my co-worker is my dog, Jack Black...
