Fitness while healing and injury

I injured my right knee big time by overdoing my first week of the C25K and NOT resting (Don't do that!)
Anyway - while my knee is healing I am looking for some light to moderate activity that I can incorporate. Keep in mind that I really can't do anything wtih that knee - even walking/weight bearing is torture right now.
So far I'm thinking core stuff but maybe there are some resistance band exercises I could do to build some upper body strength?

That's pretty tough. I had knee surgery earlier this year but could at least ride the bike. I assume you've been to the doctor for this? If you're so limited that you can't walk, I would just rest until you're healed to not risk it. If you haven't been to a doctor though, do that and maybe he'll send you to get PT as well.0
