since 2009 i have been losing weight i have done well i started at 315 but i am stuck for almost a year now in the 230's and every time i get close to getting out of them i binge eat till im sick and right back in the mid to high 230's i dont want to do this cycle anymore i know that i have lost almost 90 pounds it felt great but now all i can see is the 60 i still have to go. i want to have the self control and motivation that i had in the beginning i love the gym but if i cant go during my scheduled time to go then i blow it off, then it takes me a few times to get back into it. and that does not help with progress. so please if anyone has been where i am please help im sick of being stuck.

Are you eating too little when dieting? It leads to bingeing. If you are then eat around 15% below your TDEE everyday so you aren't so hungry and you'll find it a lot easier to stick to long term. Best of luck!0

What about if you change/add to your exercise routine? You can do the Jillian 30- day shred-you can find it on youtube. Surround yourself with low calories junk like goldfish/popcorn, it gives a good feeling but it is not extremely calories heavy. Write down what triggers binge eating and think what you can do to preempt/control it next time.0

I am stuck at 200.5 lbs. Everytime I get close I sabotage myself, too. I am determined, however, to finally get past that plateau and reach my goal. I know that I can do this and you can, too. Please feel free to add me for support and encouragement. My name is Kimberlee, 49.0

I too am stuck, matter of fact the little weight I did lose krept back on and that happens to me constantly, but I am not giving up, I keep going because sooner or later it has got to move. Being on insulin and other meds does not help, it helps you gain weight. But I will do it come what may!!!
I have changed my exercise, yoou say if you cannot get to the gym at your designated time you blow it, so why not go when you can or do some other sort of exercise to compensate for not going to the gym.0 -
I know the feeling and really understand what you're going through. It's taken me about three years to lose 60 pounds and I still have a ways yet. It's a really big battle for me every day and some days, even weeks, I fall off the wagon and come to my wits end so many times I have lost count. In fact, I'm in such a funk right now too! As hard as it all is, it's not going to happen over night, and I have to remind this to myself constantly. Just gotta keep on moving forward, you know? Don't lose faith in yourself, lady, you will get there!0

Oh, I am so there - I have over 100 pounds to lose and it just seems like the biggest mountain to climb. I talk myself into the fact that it is too daunting and then I stop trying and gain 5 to 10 more pounds. Then I try for a few days and inevitably back to eating out and not working out. I just don't know how to make this lifestyle change for good. I am hoping this group is my first big step in the right direction.
Be proud of what you have lost and get that killer instinct back to try even harder and suprise yourself - b/c we know you can do it!!0
