Hi Everyone
I'm looking for some friends! I'm new at this and I'm planning to be logging on everyday because my weight goal is 80 pounds. I have been overweight all my life but never really cared. After having my daughter and quitting smoking when I found out I was pregnant changed the way I look at my health. I know there is a better version of me! Not wanting to look like a model but to look in the mirror and feel good about myself.
I'm currently 259 pounds and 5"7 and my first goal is lose 80 pounds and than my second goal is to lose an additional 20-30 after that.
Looking forward to hearing from you!

Hi, welcome to the site.
I had my little girl nearly 6 months ago, I put 5 stone on whilst pregnant and another stone since. It is now time to get it off, for my baby, my family and myself. I want to b able to look in the mirror and be happy with what I see. I want to be able to play for a long time with my baby and not be tired or aching from sitting on the floor or bending over, and I want to feel attractive again and keep my marriage exciting. It is going to take a while but I will do this. Good luck with your weight loss. Xxx0 -
Congrats on your new baby. That is such an amazing thing. I didn't have children and that is the one thing I miss in life. I am so proud of you for starting this journey for all of you. I am disabled and have had to lose most of my wt. with diet alone...to be younger and more mobile...lol. Having a group of supportive friends can really be helpful along the way. Please feel free to add me. My name is Kimberlee, 49.0

Hi! My little girl turned 2 in August and I didn't start really thinking about losing the baby weight seriously until January. Managed to lose a good stone and a half on my own before starting to struggle then I found MFP. It's been up and down since I joined but finding friends to help you along the way is much better than going it alone! Feel free to add me for some support - we can all do it toghether! That goes for everyone else too - the more friends, the more support and the less likely we will be to give up! Onwards and downwards!! Louise x0
