I WOULD LOVE TO KNOW HOW EVERYONE IS TRACKING THEIR PROGRESS. DO YOU TRACK IT BY WEIGHT, MEASUREMENTS, PICTURES, BODY FAT, ECT....?

Yes.
Mostly weight. I need to track measurements again but it's frustrating because even though my weight goes down the inches don't for me. Pictures are a great indicator. Okay I don't track body fat - but yes to everything else.0 -
When I started this journey years ago, I tracked my weight and inches. Used an eyeliner pencil and wrote the numbers on my bathroom mirror to SEE every day where I started.
Since heavy lifting, I use BF% as my indicator0 -
I will be tracking by weight and measurements and how my clothes fit me.0

Physically,I go according to how I look when I'm in my underwear lol.Other than that, I pay attention to my workout performance.
I started pictures this year because I've been testing different workouts and I'm not on a diet. I'll be starting measurements and pictures again (every 30 days) because I'll be doing some programs and I want accurate records so that I can see which program is best for what I want and need in my lifestyle long term.
I don't use the scale too much any more, because I', completely happy where I a weight wise. Muscle weighs more than fat. Water retention, that time of month all affect the scale. I'm not aiming for a certain weight, but for improved fitness performance, health, strength and a bit more body sculpting. Also, I can get a bit obsessed with getting to a specific goal, and sometimes that goal isn't what's good for you . If you go check out this site http://www.mybodygallery.com/ you'll see that different weights and different builds all look very different. You really have to find the right thing for you.
I don't do body fat because I don't have the cal-whatever it is called thing. BMI etc all these things give an indication, but the tests take different things into account. A lot depends on where you carry your weight .
So, purely for accurate recording, I'll take measurements once a month for the next 6 months or so, as well as pictures. After that, I'll hardly ever take pictures or weigh myself and just maintain my regime.0 -
Hiya,
I've been weighing myself once a week, I took photos about two months ago, and I plan to take them once every three months.
Also the gym I got to has a Maltrons test, which tests bodyfat %, bodyfat mass, resistance, bmr, lean kgs and water. I have done this a couple of times and I am planning to do it every 6 weeks or so.
I've been finding this pretty effective, especially in combination with my fitness pal and my Polar heart rate watch.0 -
