toothache and exercising

I have a really bad toothache right now, my root is acting bad again, I can't even smile wide. once I run (or do some activity), it throbs.
when I first run with the toothache. It wasn't really painful since I already took a painkiller. and I wasn't really running, just doing brisk walking. I didn't continue because I was afraid the pain and throbbing would be worse. I've already seen a dentist and I'm gonna see her again tomorrow but it's been a week since the last time I ran.

If I choose not to run for the time being, can I still lose weight just by eating less? have anyone had a throbbing toothache while exercising?

Yeah just get with your dentist and get it fixed. You can lose weight without exercise, but that doesn't mean that you shouldn't exercise. Get it fixed and keep moving. In the meantime, focus on strength training instead of cardio if its killing you.

I'm gonna see my dentist again today and to get it fixed, it takes several weeks. so maybe I wouldn't be able to run in the meantime.
but I feel like I wouldn't reach my goal without cardio. with strength training, will I lose weight as much as if I did cardio?

If exercising causes pain then don't do it. Find something else to do that doesn't hurt you, or just accept that you can't exercise for now, and get back into it again when your tooth is fixed.

Even with no exercise, if you stay under your calorie goal you should still lose weight.
