    As much as I love bacon... One of my favorite parts of the turkey is the skin. Gross, I know, but it's the thing I look forward to throughout the year. The one year my brother deep-fried the turkey--blasphemy--skin ruined! I worry the bacon might do that, too.

    My turkey skin imbibing has been quashed recently though. Since we've lived in Connecticut and have no family here, we've gone out to a restaurant for Thanksgiving dinner, and I haven't worked up the courage to ask the buffet carver guy for just a hunk of skin!
