The only one that I REALLY can not stand is the C word that rhymes with Bunt. I will backhand ANYONE who says it.

If said with a strong Yorkshire accent it has a beautiful ring to it. But then so do most expletives. It's the depth of the 'u'. /proud Yorkshireman

Flaunt. (So overused in celebrity gossip...generally just said about someone leaving the house...)

Cracking (such as cracking jokes or cracking gum.)

    1st Annual. (Grammatically incorrect.)

Frothy. (In college, someone did a PowerPoint on STDs and "frothy discharge" was a symptom...with a picture.)

Clown. (I'm so afraid of them that the WORD just freaks me out.)
  • loose (when it should be lose)
except (when it should be accept)

English isn't my first language & I also despise grammar nazis who sees mistakes in even the tiniest details. However its very clear that these words are way too different & can mean a lot when misspelled.

    I actually use that word a lot:blushing:

I also use panties too. IMO it's way more sexy then saying underwear.

Yes, Zomoniac, I forgot expresso for espresso. My mom, bless her heart ( ), also says Walmark, isoprofen for ibuprofen, and tydol for Tylenol.

Congeal or congealed, especially when used to describe something edible. It makes me think of a blood clot.

My bad! I know that is a phrase and not just one word but it drives me NUTS!!! My is a possessive pronoun and you can't own bad unless the name of your pet is Bad! You can own a mistake but not bad. Makes me absolutely crazy!

    Supposably

Decimate --- apparently, no one actually knows this word does NOT mean obliterate

Slit --- another euphemism for vagina - this one enrages me!
