This may be silly but.......How do I cook hashbrowns without all the oil...any tips? My kids want breakfast for dinner and they want hashrowns....I don't have to have them but is their a healthier way to cook them for the kids? Can you bake/broil them???

Just bake them on sheet..just the same as french fries or tator tots..
  • I spray a pan with cooking spray and cook them on the stove.

I use about 1-2 tbs of olive oil when I make mine in a non stick pan. Oive oil is good 4 you and the 2 tbs are divided into portions. They are not greasy at all and tastes soooo yummy. I also add onions, bell pepper, and southwest seasoning if I want a twist....Yummo
  • It depends on the type I use. Shredded hashbrowns do but the kind that are cubes don't.
