Calorie Count?? Diet Soda Cake

I just finished baking this cake, VERY GOOD by the way.
I used Duncan Hines Lemon cake with Diet Squirt & 2 egg whites. Lite as air and better than traditional cake. IMHO
I made mine as cupcakes and ended up with 12 very generous cuppies.
My concern/confusion comes in to play when I looked in the database for calorie counts.
I found counts in a huge range from 200 for reduced sugar devils food to as low as 80 for a "mini" ( cupcake I assume) and everything in between. I ran to the pantry and checked 3 other flavors Banana, French Vanilla and Yellow all were 170-180dry. Thinking perhaps the different cake flavors might have a vastly different cal count, nope not the case.
My calculations show something completely different.
Duncan Hines Moist Deluxe Lemon Supreme- 180cals dry mix
10 oz. Diet Squirt- 0 cals
2 Egg Whites- 34 cals ( 17 each)
Total : 214 cals/12= 17.8 cals each
Unless someone made the cake with eggs and oil or topped this with frosting. I dont know how you can get the higher cal counts.
Did I miss something in my calculations? Wouldn't be the first time.

Well I just looked up the nutrition info on your cake mix which i found here
http://www.duncanhines.com/products/cakes/moist-deluxe-lemon-supreme-cake-mix
it says it's 180cals for only 1/12th of the package. So 180 x 12 = 2160cals for the whole box of dry mix. Plus the 2 egg whites equals 2194cals.
Divided by 12 for your cupcakes equals 182.83cals per cupcake.
gotta watch the serving size!0
