I am a dummy when it comes to exercising and do not know what to do to get started. I started out on treadmill for the first couple of days and stationary bike but went to the elliptical machine today. I worked it for 33 minutes. I felt the workout more on that machine. I am 5 foot 4 inches and weigh 163 but do not look it. I look small framed but pregnant when I am NOT! All my weight is in my belly and my face. Is this a good machine to use to start out? What gym resources would you use to get fit and lose weight?

#1 piece of advice: find an exercise you can do, not dread, and can do it more than once!
Ex: When I first started to try and lose weight, I tried running on the treadmill. When I couldnt do more than a few minutes, I pretty much gave up.
Then I found walking outside, LOVED doing it, put my headphones in, cleared my head, got the dog some exercise!
And you know what? I STILL hate to run, and I'm not good at it. lol0
