Post-Workout meal

Hello everyone!
I was wondering what your post-workouts meals are and which ones are better for weight loss and muscle building.
I just finished my work out, i usually just eat an apple after my work out , but today I drank skim milk and a banana. I have heard that skim milk is good for weight loss and muscle gain after a work out but i don't know if this is true!
