Steroid dose pack?

My doctor gave me a medrol dose pack today and I was wondering if there's any way to keep from letting that make me gain weight. Every other time I've ever taken it I ended up putting on a few pounds. Any ideas?

    If you continue to eat reasonably and log your calories you might do better than the last time. Keep up with your exercise if you can as well, not sure what the dynamic of the weight gain is, if it's appetite you can at least KNOW why and work at it. Hope you do well.

    Medrol didn't make make me gain weight but shot my blood pressure through the roof.....
