.... gets thrown up later?
Do I just skip adding my food in today?

I skip logging when I'm sick. I figure between throwing up and no appetite there's no way I'd be over my calories anyways. Hope you feel better soon!0

something like 50% or more (i forget the percentage) of the calories you eat are still absorbed by the body when you throw up, intentionally or not. i think that's why many people with bulimia stay around the same weight.0

Hm. I'm also wondering how long I should wait until I weigh in again. I think if I do it today it will be a skewed number because I haven't eaten much the last two days.0

I wouldn't worry about it, and not log until you're feeling better. As long as you know you're eating to make yourself better, and not eating comfort foods.0

Put MFP away.
Put your diet away.
Put the scale away.
Put the exercise away.
Focus on getting better and not being sick.
When you think you're better, wait another day or two.
Then you can worry about the above.0 -

Great advice! The kind of advice that I'm great at giving but so bad a following!0 -

Right there with ya!0 -
Log what you think you kept down, then go rest, go hydrate, go get better. At least I'm assuming you're physically ill.0

Happened to me day before yesterday. I just logged what I'd eaten and made a note that I'd been sick. And yes, it might give you skewed results on the scale. I was down 2.8 pounds yesterday. Went out for a prime rib dinner, drinks, and movie complete with snacks, and back up the 2.8 plus a couple more today because of the popcorn bloat.0
