do I need to recalculate my tdee/bmr?

So just yesterday, I had unfortunately dislocated my knee cap, nothing major went wrong, just bruised ligaments/cartridge. But this means no more exercising until my knee stops hurting- whenever I try to bend it (hopefully it won't last more than a week?)
During this period of time, I will be spending most of my time home, sitting on the couch, not moving as opposed to exercising 6 days a week.
Was just wondering, do I need to recalculate my tdee, since I will not be active as much, therefore I need to cut back on the calories a bit. Or will I get away with still eating the same amount of calories as I did when I was active 6 days a week?

I'd reset to sedentary but I have mine set that way to start with and just add exercise as it happens.0

This is actually a good time to set your account to maintain. The additional calories will help with your body to repair itself. It's what I do when I get injured and it's helped a lot. A week off is good once and awhile.0

Welcome, I actually had to do this two weeks ago after I hurt a pop in my shoulder while working out. Good luck and get better.0
