Are you planning on sticking to your diet regiment on Thanksgiving, allow yourself some indulgences, but keep close track, or just give yourself a free day and face the consequences later?

I'll be eating whatever I feel like eating. To me, that is the difference between a diet and a lifestyle change. I am looking to sustain healthy habits for life. But to me, having a healthy relationship with food means being able to join in celebratory occasions where food is involved. I don't turn down a slice of birthday cake and I won't turn down Thanksgiving dinner either. It's just one day, and a happy one at that -- why ruin it by stressing about calorie counts? If one day can ruin your diet than you aren't doing it right.
By the way, I mean "you" in the general sense, not you specifically.0
