15 kilos in 14 weeks

I want to lose my last 15 kilos in 14 weeks so I can hopefully be looking fine and fab for Mardi Gras. I can fit in 1 hour of exercise on a bad day and 3 on a good day.

So I want some great fat burning exercises suggested and some really good food choices (and a wide range)

  • for one of the months you could try a jillian michaels dvd. that's about 20 minutes (with warm up and cool down, 30) and then cardio for the other 30. i've done her workouts (30-day shred; ripped in 30) and they're a really good kick-off. starts with low ability and gets difficult fast. just make sure not to eat all the calories you burn! anything you make at home will be less calorific than store-bought food!

    Running and cycling both seem to work well for me as far as calorie burning goes and both are fairly 'easy' as such to do (though you do have to make an effort for the burn, of course).

    I've been making an effort to cycle a lot more as a means of transport - with some panniers can carry quite a lot.
    For instance it took me 40 minutes to cycling to the local city when I wanted to pick up a couple of bits from the Chinese Supermarket there - actually only about 10 minutes quicker than in the car (I kept pace with other vehicles for half the journey I reckon).
    So I ended up getting an hour and twenty minutes exercise, but at a 'time-cost' to me of only 20 minutes. Often find it quicker to cycle around my town and 150 calories or so to pop to the shops.
