Whats yours? Mine is years back when I first got engaged to my daughters mum.

Whisked her off her feet and did what she and many other said would be a fairy tale engagement. Bought her a new dress of her choosing, myself a suit, took her to a £300 a night hotel in the country far away from the crowds...

I ordered us the finest wines and champagne, the finest cuts of steak. Everything a girl could wish for. Finally, got down on one knee, proposed and she said yes. Perfect one would think. Think again.

She then proceeded to drink the wine and champagne to herself, leave the steak and pass out on the bed and threw up over night and was hung over in the morning. Classy!

So what times do you look back and think why the hell didn't I run, and run fast? LOL

In college, at a bar ,a guy approached me to say he had seen someone trying to slip a mickey into my drink and he stopped him. We talked for a bit and he asked me out..I reluctantly agreed (he seemed a little weird). The next day he picked me up and said he needed to stop by his apt to clean up..again, reluctantly agreed. We go in and he goes to the bathroom and pees with the door open..ewwww. He doesn't clean up but instead sits down with his manure covered socks staring me in the face and precedes to tell me how he could tackle me to the bed if he wanted. I got out, but I should have run sooner!
  • In hindsight, I should have lifted!

I lost 120lbs in 9 months back in 2008--the first 6 months all I did was bike and then jog. The last 3 months I then incorporated resistance training and then the weight really fell off.

I also lost over 30lbs of muscle which I think I have finally gained back.

Definitely could of did that a bit healthier and more efficient!!

    lol. ditto.

I had a girlfriend once that pretty much couldn't let me out of the house, and it got worse over time with her feigning vomiting to get me to stay. I went anyway and when I got back she tried to brainwash me into believing she was sick. im not an idiot, I know what puke sounds like hitting the bowl. It got worse still when I went to see a friend that I hadn't seen in about 6 months, and I knew she would be home after 6:45. I started feeling sick because I knew **** was going to hit the fan when I got home. when I finally did at about 7:30 she burst into tears and cried for about 2 hours with a lot of "why weren't you here" "you hate me don't you" etc. I was like WTF... am I crazy or is she. it was a horrible, horrible relationship. I could have no opinion. she literally tried to brainwash me into thinking everything, ever, since the beginning of time was my fault. I remember one day we went to a cafe and she looked at me with her crazy eyes and said "I want to be with you forever" my brain crashed like oooooh **** no and i said "don't say that, forever is a long time" <
this was a mistake. she also talked about killing herself a lot. winning.

in the end I decided that I should break up with her she went into therapy 3 times a week 2 hour sessions, started calling my work so she knew my shifts and *****ed me out to my work mates, told me she would beat up my next girlfriend and force hugged me.

and she wasn't even hot. not even average.

I should have run as soon as I met her. I really was a dumbass when I was 19.
