I have been doing back to back Couch 25K program (the same week-two times in a row-total of one hour). Am I being ridiculous?? I feel that up until now I wasn't pushing myself hard enough when it comes to exercise. Is this too much? Am I going to get burnt out?? Should I switch it up after one c25k session and get on the elliptical for 30 minutes instead?? I am also planning on switching to the 10k running program.

You do need to throw in a rest day at least once a week, but other than that I think you can keep going.

As long as you take a day off between to do something different and you aren't experiencing any pain beyond sore muscles I don't see a problem. I started with C25K having never run before and found after the first few weeks I could move my times up and by week 5 I was running the full 5K and never really finished the program. If you can do a day 2 times in a row then maybe try moving ahead increasing the length of your run intervals. If you're doing this on the treadmill it's easy to watch your times and just keep pushing time and speed up a bit.
