My own small victory (NSV)

Today I did a boot camp for about 50min on the beach and benches near the beach with a group of people who have been training a lot longer/harder than me.

I didn't humiliate myself, die or pass out. I didn't stand out as the unfit fatty I see myself as in my head. I was encouraged by the others in the group and the trainer was super nice and great encouragement. I now see why he's the most sought after trainer where I live.

And the best bit is I have four weeks of this boot camp, 3x a week, plus a few other PT sessions and possibly pilates and/or hot yoga, too on the weekends...

I'm super motivated.

This will be the first time I've got the exercise and food thing happening at the same time.

I'm really proud of myself. If I can stick to this for four weeks I know I'll see progress. The trainer said he thinks given my frame, fitness level and dedication, I can make a huge difference in 2 weeks even!!

My work party is on the day of the last Boot Camp Class and I want to go to the party with the confidence and pride that finishing something this challenging will give me!
Go, me!

edited to add: i've never started and finished any exercise programme in my life! i'm great at denying myself ...restricting foods etc but exercise is something i've never committed to before!

Awesome job! Sometimes we just have to take that chance and see we won't fail. I did a Bob Harper cardio video for a whole hour yesterday and didn't feel like I couldn't keep up with the skinny minnies on the tv. Don't think I could do it today but like you said one foot in front of the other!
