My body feels so strange

I don't know if anyone else does this....I think it is a bit weird...but here you go

I am only half way to my goal but I sometimes lie awake at night and find myself touching my leg or hip bone (I have one now) or arm and just feeling how much smaller they are and how the muscles feels under the fat I have left.

I can not wait to get to my goal but even now I feel so different and just better... It is hard to explain:blushing:

I do the same thing! I am so enamoured of my increasingly defined triceps.

I think the most weird bit is getting out of bed and looking down and seeing someone else's legs.

I was at the gym the other day and didn't recognize myself when I walked by a mirror. Awesome :)

I know what you mean! It's strange feeling bones and muscles you never knew were there. The good thing is you start to get used to it. Though there is one bone in my shoulder that always surprises me!

I know just what you mean! For me its collarbone, hip and the muscles on my sides. I have a LONG way to go but I'm getting there.

I can relate---only I am old enough to "remember" that body so it's like seeing an old friend.. I think I'll be kinder to "her" from here on out--I've missed her.

Same here! Finally i'm able to feel and see (just a little) a line in my upper arms and in my thighs....the tummy will be the last place i lose the fat and I look forward to seeing what's under there.

  • Totally! I'm discovering my shoulders aren't actually as wide as I thought!

I touch my hip bones and go EEEEEEEE! I think hip bones on women are so sexy and I didn't realize mine were as prominant sp? as they are even though I still have plenty of chub to lose.

I do this all the time! It's different, but it's a good different! I love feeling the shapes changing.

    I understand completely.

I love feeling my arms now! They're so muscular compared to before. My BF and I were laying in bed about a week ago and he kept running his hands over my torso. I knew what he was thinking, and then he finally said, "it's weird to feel your ribs." Lol.

It may feel weird to say it out loud, but I think a lot of people go through this.

I am OBSESSED with how my stomach feels when I lay on my back. Before it was a mountain, now it is a valley... I too have hip bones again. If enjoying the weirdness makes us nuts, then I'm an entire bag of Almonds! LOL :glasses:

I'm constantly rubbin' on muhself. My arms have definition, my collarbones stick out, my abs are darn near flat, my back is strong, my hips are sexy, and my legs are hard. I was checking out my shadow as I was running the other day thinking how cute I looked. Ha! The things I would never say out loud in real life. Only you folks understand.

I feel the same way. It is so odd to once again feel bones! And I do find myself touching my body and flexing my muscles now! I love it....I'm sure everyone else is sick of me saying look look while I'm all flexed out!

I constantly feel myself up. As I was reading your post, I was feeling that place where your collarbone meets your shoulder in a point. I don't think I've ever felt that before?

I often lie on my stomach on the floor in front of my space heater while watching tv and such. and now when I lie there I can feel my hip bones pressing into the carpet!! Before it was too covered in fat to feel!! And I too am only at about the half way point!
