I changed mine to 25% but some days I have a hard time hitting that without protein bars. I noticed when I used to make the protein shakes with the powder, greek yogurt, berries, skim milk it was a big chunk of my calories so I stopped making them. I'm having a hard time finding a happy medium without a ton of calories. And I'm doing New Rules of Lifting for Women right now. Next week is my last week on Stage/Phase 1. I can't remember what he calls it exactly- my book is in my gym bag

I agree with your statement. I am majorly increased my protein and have dropped weight and inches. People across the board (losing, gaining, maintaining) need to increase thier protein.

Today I decided to add in 3 meals of whey protein shakes to see if that helps. I'm concerned that I may go over on calories, though. I

Protein has the same amount of calories per gram as carbohydrates. Try swapping out protein for carbs, as MFP's numbers for the former are too low and for the latter are on the high side.

Don't forget you can bake with protein powder as well, Makes it more portable than a shake. I personally love protein muffins, pumpkin, or Chocolate banana YUMMM

for those of you who get full before getting enough protein, egg whites, nuts, protein muffins, protein shakes, shrimp, fish are all "less heavy" forms of protein
